Welcome to FlappyBurgee! Use the ◄ Lagging button (left arrow or 'A' key) to make careful moves, and the Leading ► button (right arrow or 'D' key) to take bold actions. Keep pressing the buttons to help your character rise above the competition! The act of jumping represents compartmentalizing daily measures of success into leading and lagging indicators. Lagging indicators reflect your position relative to others, such as the number of wins compared to other teams. Leading indicators represent daily actions or inputs that help you rise and maintain success. Lagging indicators become useful only once you're off the ground—they help analyze past performance to create a baseline for improvement. When starting out, focusing on lagging indicators has little value, as they can look discouraging without sufficient data. Success in the game requires balancing both leading and lagging indicators. By doing so, you achieve a "gravity boost," allowing you to soar to the top. Focusing on just one may still lead to success, but it will be far more challenging. Regardless of your effort, the game never truly ends—eventually, you fall, and another bot takes your place. This natural cycle of competition shows that staying at the top requires consistency and repetition. The bots have distinct personalities: Red: Skilled and ruthless. Red competes consistently at the highest level with dedication to maximum repetitions of concentrated effort. Green: Focuses on consistency but lacks Red's ruthlessness. Green's approach is steady, with small, calculated improvements leading to steady success. Magenta: Extremely competitive but lacks a plan to maintain success. Magenta focuses heavily on lagging indicators like win count, but inconsistency often leads to failure. With better analysis and consistency, Magenta could be the best competitor. Orange: Lacks any plan and competes without purpose. Orange occasionally makes progress but is ultimately limited. The only way Orange wins is if YOU do nothing. Orange is self-aware about others outperforming him (lagging indicators) and has no plan for improvement. Orange is a loser—don't be like him! Blue represents you—a player capable of both leading and lagging actions. The game encourages balancing taking initiative and reflection, showing how both contribute to success. These lessons apply to all aspects of life, whether personal, professional, or competitive. Success comes from defining key metrics and focusing effort on improving them. Play LaggyLeady to experience how balancing these approaches can foster sustainable success, both in the game and in life.
